LIFE Course is committed to follow God’s blueprint on true medical missionary training as outlined in the Scriptures and the writings
of Ellen G. White. Therefore, our program covers three main aspects: Word Ministry, Health Evangelism and Practical Work.

Bible

“It is written” was often the answer of Jesus in the face of confusion and temptation. As Christians, we recognize that the Bible is the basis of true knowledge and the ultimate source of power to live a holy, meaningful life.

Looking back in history, we can see that the Apostles, the Waldensians, the Reformers and the Pioneers, all received their education and power from the Bible. Like them, we plan to make it the center of our studies.

Christian Living: investigate the value of biblical principles for help in daily living.
Bible Study Methods: learn how to observe, interpret, apply and share the Bible in a way that will transform your life.
Creation vs. Evolution: discovering a science and faith based view.
Church and Adventist History: a look back to God’s dealing with His people in the past in order to draw important lessons for the future.
Sanctuary: the importance of Christ’s ministry in the Sanctuary and its application to our Christian walk today.
Daniel and Revelation: a closer look to their historical fulfilment and value in preparation for coming events.
The value of Ellen G. White’s writings in biblical interpretation
Christian Home: discover biblical guidelines regarding courtship and marriage leading to a happy home.
Understanding other beliefs: Judaism and Islam
Financial Management: principles for a wise and balanced dealing with financial resources.

Health

Jesus Christ’s ministry focused on helping people physically, winning their confidence and ministering to their immediate needs, and then lead them to the Bible. His method stands to this day as the model for successful outreach.

At LIFE Course, you will take a closer look at Christ’s method of healing and learn from experienced physicians, educators, therapists and administrators how to become effective health promoters.

Topics:

Physiology: gain an essential knowledge about the complexity and function of the human body.
Anatomy: learn more about the way God organised structures and organs in the human body in order to ensure a harmonious function.
Nutrition: understand the benefits of adopting a healthy diet in order to enjoy well-being and avoid possible deficiencies.
Hydrotherapy: learn various ways in which water can be used to alleviate pain and assist recovery.
Mental Health: discover a Christian perspective on psychology and the tools within our reach to develop strong, healthy and balanced minds.
Massage: students will be introduced to the benefits of massage and the different types of movements, such as effleurage, petrissage, tapotement, and friction, and how they are used in Swedish massage.

Practical Skills

Through a dynamic educational experience you will learn while doing. You will have the opportunity of balancing intellectual learning with productive activities, like organic farming, beekeeping, wood working, plant-based cooking, massage and more.
